Happy (Belated) 4th of July

Happy (belated) 4th of July to everyone out there reading this. We hope you had a great day and night, and are having a great long holiday weekend. It was nice to stay close to home this year. It seemed for a while there it was every other year we were out of town this weekend. (2008 Idaho for a wedding, 2010 Washington for a wedding, 2012 Alaska for a wedding). I guess no one we know is getting married this year. We headed out to Hillsboro for the annual 4th of July parade, one block from Pat's house. Good breakfast, good parade, the kids enjoyed it, and got way too much candy, but there were no tears so it was a winner.
