Samantha... Just Because I Can

Last weekend was a perfect little weekend. Saturday and Sunday were both spent watching football, reading magazines, catching up on things we had recorded from the week, going through some of Sam's clothes that don't fit anymore, and lounging in our jammies. It was perfect and I felt like I got a lot done, even if those things were just finishing a magazine and watching some Ellen. Sam was also being super happy for a bit Saturday morning so I decided to whip out the camera and some of her clothes she hasn't worn yet. We did a fashion shoot for a bit. Here's the fun from the day. Enjoy!

Zach Brown Band Concert

Friday night Josh and I were lucky enough to have tickets to the Zac Brown Band concert thanks to Kaye and my dad. Also thanks to Aunt Kathy for babysitting so we could join my parents for dinner and the concert.

The opening guy was alright, Nic Cowan, nothing I've downloaded since coming home, but wasn't bad while we were there. The next band wasn't our favorite and we chose to stand in line for beer and use the restrooms rather than listen to them. Finally Zac Brown came on, and he's probably the only country artist I've seen to wear a beanie. He was great. He did all his hits, plus a few others, and some great covers. They did Charlie Daniels Band "The Devil Went Down to Georgia", "Can't you See" by The Marshall Tucker Band, and finally "Neon", by John Mayor. In the middle of Neon they had a great drum battle with Zac Brown participating. It was great. The lead guitar player had a 10 minute solo that was amazing, we could have just listened to him all night.

All in all, a great concert. We don't tend to go to a lot of concerts, but the ones we do see are always a lot of fun.

Samantha

Just more pictures of the not so little bug. Even rare pictures of me with her... only because I told Josh to use the camera sometimes!

Harvest Moon

Last weekend there was a Harvest Moon, and luckily it was clear enough for me to see it from our back porch. I wish I could have gotten away from the city a bit to take some, but these will have to work.

Multnomah Falls

I'm finally getting around to updating my pictures. These are from when we stopped at Multnomah Falls on the way back from Skamania Lodge after John and Jen's wedding.
