Side

Sam loves to play "side" as she says, or outside, as we say. We recently were given a play structure with a slide on it from a co-worker. Sam was so excited seeing the slide just lying on the ground she started to shimmy herself across it flat on the grass. She is thrilled it's put together now too however. There aren't stairs though, only a ladder type to climb up, which she doesn't know how to do yet. She doesn't appear to excel in climbing, which I'm really ok with!

Keira's First Birthday

Sunday the family headed out to our friends Dan & Lacey's little girl's first birthday party at a park in Hillsboro. It was a perfect day out, warm, but not hot at all. The kids mostly just all wanted to play, it was hard to get Sam off the slide long enough to even eat some food, and once we did get her to eat she immediately wanted to go back to the play structure. It was good to see friends, and see all the kids growing up so fast!

Summer Days

We just love summer days at our new house. BBQ's on the warm nights, playing at the park across the street, throwing the ball around in our backyard. Samantha may miss the stairs, but she is one happy girl with all the outside time.
