Big Girl Samantha

Samantha has become such a big girl. While at times we can definitely tell we have a two year old on our hands, for the most part, and compared to how she could be, we're very lucky! And we know it. She turned 2 in late January, and will become a big sister in a couple short months. Although she already shares with baby sister at times when she's playing. Just a few Samantha tidbits below for fun on what she's up to now.

~She is successfully sleeping in her big girl room, in her new twin bed. She loves it.
~She knows baby sister is coming and seems more and more excited about it.
~If anyone sneezes she's usually on top of it with the "Bless You" even if it's our cat.
~If she burps, which she does often, she announces "Excuse me, I burped."
~If she toots, she just giggles, and we have to remind her what to say.
~At random times she will stick her arm out, hand up, and say "It's ok Momma" or whoever she's talking to.
~She knows all her letters (capitol at least) although still has the random mix ups. Also her colors, and can count to 10, then it's a bit sporadic.
~She loves to be clean. If she's outside playing she's fine sticking her hands in the dirt, but when she's ready to be clean she needs a wipe and right that instant. No drops or piece of pepper can be anywhere she can see it or she will freak out. She's even requested a change in jammies after water droplets got on her.
~ She will recite what she wants us to say to her. Example, she will fall down on purpose and then say "Are you ok?" and she will repeat it until we ask her, then she will say she's ok. Or we will ask her a question and when she lies she knows we're going to call her on it so she says "I think you do..." with a big grin on her face.
~She loves to play outside, and would be happy outside all the time. (We're extra grateful for the recent weather)
~She loves animals
~ She loves music, and always requests Adele.
~ She will tell you "Look Momma look" or whoever she's talking to, even if you're in another room, or even on the phone
~ She either has on her toes, socks, or shoes... doesn't quite get that her toes are still there, just covered.
~ It's either raining, cold, windy, or sunny... she never combines them. She usually goes with cold. haha.
~ She is mostly a daddy's girl, but lately has been clinging to momma when she isn't feeling well or is crying for no apparent reason.
~ Everything can be later. If it's cold outside, she'll say "outside later". She has fun doing something and then wants to do it again, it's always later. When it's raining and wet outside she says "daddy dry it later"... yep, daddy will dry everything later. haha. Clearly we tell her later a time or two. haha
