Last week while we were having just gorgeous sunny weather we just had to take advantage of it. We always figured that Audrey's first time at the beach would be right around her first birthday, having missed the sunny weather from this last summer. Well, we were happy to have the chance to take her last weekend. Sam was thrilled to play with her bucket and shovel, as the last time we were at the beach is was so windy she cried the whole time and couldn't stand to be on the sand. This time she played, ran around, and laughed. My mom and step dad came, (and their dog, Stella), as well as Josh's mom. It was nice to get out of the house and enjoy the sunny beach weather in short sleeve shirts in the middle of October. We got lunch, played by the water, and got some treats before heading home (just in time to see the Ducks take on the Cougs). Nice little day.
