Last Saturday when the temperatures were forecasted to reach the high 90's, we made plans to meet up with the Borts' in Portland at the Teacher's Fountain. First thing in the morning however we headed up to the big park by our house and Sam waded around in the little stream fountain and got to play on the swings. Then after nap time it was time for downtown! It's a great fountain for little kids with water no deeper than 3 inches, if that, and spouts of water squirting up all over. The temps actually got to 102 in Portland but it honestly didn't feel like it walking through the water with a nice little breeze in the afternoon. Sam loves the water, it was hard to get her out so we could go eat.
Checking eachother out
Just figured out she can splash!
Playing together, mostly Sam splashing
She kept walking straight into the fountains
