Surprise!

The week after we moved into our new place, Chelsea, Becca, and I (Corey's friends) all threw her and Brian a surprise engagement party. I have to say not a ton of people came, but it was great with the people that did come! They had no idea and thought they were just going to do some cake tasting. When you get married first, then do the wedding planning, have an engagement party, then have the big party/reception/wedding... it's easy to surprise you! Since the engagement happened in Ireland last year it was nice to finally be able to celebrate it!

The Move!

The whole family is packed and ready to go! Samantha tried to help us by putting things in boxes, not the most efficient packer I've ever seen, but not the worst either!

Moving Day! We got the biggest truck they had and still eneded up stuffing cars and making a few more trips after moving day. But in the end we got everything we needed to the new place with the help of some great friends. Thanks to the Borts' Walsh's, Matt, & The Murphy's! Also a huge thanks to my dad and Kaye for taking Sam over night the night before the move so we could get stuff done and then move in and out without having to worry about her schedule.

More photos of the interior to come as it's being put together. Let's face it, I've already got everything basically 95% done, and have for awhile now, but haven't had anytime to take good photos of anything, I'm still playing catch up in the photo world!

Just for you Mom

More of an update later, but just for now here is one photo. Friday morning before the move started Samantha learned how to climb into her rocking chair and rock all by herself. Even more importantly she learned how to get out without falling. Such a big girl! The chair has been in my family for a while, so I'm glad she really loves it!

Super Moon 2012

Saturday night as I'm sure most know there was a super moon. I went outside at 8:35 like the news said it would be but didn't see anything. It took almost another hour, but I could finally see it off the back deck. I wish I was in a dark area so it would have had a brighter glow, but it was still pretty cool.

Family Birthdays

Last Saturday we celebrated Regan's 5th Birthday, Eli's 13th, and Kara's 36th. Lots of food, family, and fun for all. Regan has the best expressions opening her presents.

Sam started booking it towards the plastic softball on the lawn. We told Gauge she liked to play with balls, so he brought her a few more... I'm pretty sure we have a picture of her holding each ball. That will come in handy later.
