We love Ellen!

Samantha will usually turn towards the tv when she hears music, or stops what she's doing when she sees dancing... so put that together and she loves Ellen! Really she only sees some sports and Ellen, but she loves her!

Pumpkin Patch

Yesterday afternoon we decided suddenly to head to the Pumpkin Patch at Sauvie's Island. We got a phone call from some friends in the morning to see if we wanted to go with them, but we had a busy morning helping other friends move (or Josh helped, I watched with Sam). But after moving and Sam's afternoon nap the sun was still out, we just couldn't pass up such a beautiful day. Josh and I had never been to a pumpkin patch together, and neither of us could even remember the last time we'd been to one individually so we were excited to go. Sam wasn't too sure what to think of the pumpkins, but she did seem to enjoy sitting in the dirt and playing with grass. I think she just prefers green over the orange of the pumpkins.  ;o)

This week I hit up the Pass it On Consignment sale... twice. Sam did quite well. She even got a couple Christmas presents, which I know she already likes since she tried them out. I like this age where she won't know I put the toys away in the garage and can bust them out in a couple months to a happy baby all over again. Friday we hung out at the house playing with some of the finds from the first trip before heading back for our second trip.

She loves her new table... we just took the legs off until she's strong enough to hold herself up at it for long enough to play! She loves all the sounds it makes!

Visit with the Mansons

Recently we had an opportunity to visit our good friends the Manson's. It had been way too long! We saw Jason, Julie, and Quinton in the hospital when Quinton was born... then finally 7 weeks later we made it over to their house for a visit. Ella seemed to have a good time playing, I think Sam wanted to get up and run around with her, but she's not quite there yet. Oh boy, when the time comes though... those two are going to be unstoppable! I'm already frightened. Ella managed to play catch with Josh for a while, and hide and seek with him as well... she found her play buddy. It was fun to get together and we already can't wait to plan another play date.

PJ's Day

A few weeks ago we all stayed relaxed, watched football, and hung out in our pj's, or sweats. I love the weather changing, and we can finally do that!

Poor Sam wonders how the kitty can get over the baby gate to the other side. And Reece still doesn't quite get that Sam can't get through the gate to get to her... Sam makes a peep of excitement and Reece still runs down the stairs.
