Alright, this is going to be a lot of photos... this last weekend I did wedding photography for my cousin's wedding in Kuna, Idaho. It was definitely a wedding I'll never forget! I know there are a lot of photos... but compared to the 400 I took... this is nothing!

Rose Festival
iday night Josh and I headed downtown to Waterfront Village, part of the Rose Festival. We met up with a co-worker of mine and her husband, daughter, sister, and brother. Her brother was doing stand up comedy on one of the stages. We wondered the rides, which when we got there at 6:30 were all empty! I've never seen the rides going with no one on them, or just one or two people. We then made our way down to the BBQ and Beer section, while Josh enjoyed a variety of bbq with our friends, I stuck with the beer. We headed to the stage to see Jamie perform. I have to say, he was quite good... family fair fun. :o) Before we headed out to the rides one more as night fell... still a little empty, but starting to pick up a bit, we had to try some fried twinkies and oreo's... Thanks Catherine! As Josh said, better than we thought... the oreo's were actually quite good. While there were very muddy grounds, and some sections taped off because of the mud, the weather was actually great. Blue sky, a clear night, and somewhat warm temperatures... worked for us!

Business Adventure
So Josh and I just recently decided to start a business adventure. Below is the email we sent out to probably most of you, in case someone didn't get the information. Shaklee is a great way to live; we are really trying to create a much more green home. We use Shaklee cleaning products now and use their vitamins and protein shake mixes. We feel great, and love not having the chemical spell in the house when we clean.
We just wanted to let everyone know that we will be periodically featuring products or business specials that we have through Shaklee. We really hope that if anyone has any questions or is interested in anything, we hope you'll ask! Please, we are very excited to share this with everyone.
I know it’s been a while since we’ve seen some of you, but we wanted to drop you a line and let you know what we’ve been up to. Josh and I are new business owners! We have become direct distributors of Shaklee products. You may be like we were just a couple of months ago and are asking "What the hell is Shaklee?" For those of you asking, here is a brief description of the company:
Shaklee has been around since 1956. Shaklee started, and has remained, a company that has put the environment first. Their most well known all natural product is Basic H, their all purpose cleaner. Basic H has been trusted by places like NASA and the White House. My coworker started her Shaklee business a few months prior to us and after trying some of Shaklee's cleaning products we were convinced.
After making the commitment to switching to all natural cleaners, we looked into what else Shaklee made. This is where we found out that Shaklee also sells a full line of clinically proven all natural vitamins and dieting products.
As many of you know, we are trying to start a family and we feel this is a great time to make sure our home, and our bodies are in the best condition for that to happen. Since we are planning on using Shaklee to make this happen, we thought it would be a great opportunity to share it with our friends and family.
We have been approached with home based businesses before but this is one that we both agree have a lot going for it. All natural products are becoming more and more popular. Being that Josh and I have never heard of Shaklee made us realize that this is a great opportunity to bring more exposure to a company that has never had a recall in 54 years of business.
If you are interested in what products Shaklee has to offer, please visit our website: www.jandaberger.myshaklee.com
We plan on having an in home event where we can share the products and the business opportunity that Shaklee provides. Please reply and let us know if you are interested in attending. We really don’t want to be the friends or family members that only talk about our products and try to sell all the time. Please trust we won’t be those people. But if you are interested or have any questions please let us know! If you look through the products and aren’t interested, no sweat, that’s fine too. It’s not for everyone.
Thanks for taking the time to read this email and we hope to hear back from all of you!

Japanese Gardens
Last Saturday when my mom and Tim were still here we went to the Lake Oswego Farmer's Market, Manzana's for lunch, and then to the Japanese Gardens. It was a gorgeous day... one of the last we've seen for a while. I'm ready for more nice sunny days for more outdoor adventures. Until then, at least we have pitcutres.
Josh really wanted to skip rocks on the sand garden

Mom's Surprise Party
So last Friday my step dad and I were amazingly able to throw my mom a surprise birthday party. It was not easy with her getting to town on the 7th and seeing almost everyone all during the next week before her party on the 14th, where they all were again! Everyone did a great job of not saying anything, and we actually surprised her! Thanks everyone who helped set up and who came to the party, we had a great time!

Rhododendron Gardens in Bloom
So Josh and I (or just I) decided to go back to the rhododendron gardens again, even though it's only been a couple months because everything is finally in bloom now! Josh was amazed how big some of the trees were and how different the gardens looked now compared to last time. More pictures of course!
