Multnomah Falls

When we have gorgeous weather like we've had this weekend we just have to take advantage of it. Instead of the usual errands and laundry (although those happened too) we headed up to Multnomah Falls today. We got there around 10 which was perfect. The parking lot was only about half full and although it was still a bit chilly there wasn't many people so it was worth it. We walked up to the viewing area and the whole time Sam was going crazy. She just loves the big waterfall (that's what she calls it). She wanted to walk up to the big bridge, so we did... then when we got there we crossed it and walked through the spray and up a little bit further. Then we asked Sam how much further she wanted to go. She wanted to walk to the big bridge. We told her we already crossed it. She couldn't believe how much smaller it was once you were actually on it. We thought about walking up to the top but with Audrey strapped to Josh's back and holding her blanket and elmo... and Sam walking while I held the camera, camera bag and diaper bag... it would have been interesting, and without much water. Next time. Once we got back down Sam and Audrey shared part of a big cookie and we let them run around and explore a bit before getting back in the car. It was a nice way to spend a Sunday morning.
