Easter 2014

As with Easter tradition we headed out to church to see grandma Pat at work, and then headed off to my Aunt and Uncle's house for our annual egg hunt (and food of course). The egg hunt is an all out adults running through the yard full speed ahead grabbing up more than 250 plastic eggs filled with candy, bags of cookies, popcorn, peeps, and this year special eggs with cash or gift cards. It's become a fun tradition over the years. The kids participate as well, Samantha walked around with grandma Kaye while I went off and competed, and Josh had Audrey. He's generally on kid duty during the egg hunt since frankly I'm better at finding all the goodies (and they all come home to the same place anyway). I'm not sure when we started this tradition, but it used to be at my grandma's house (and she died in 2001).

Audrey was in a cute little corduroy dress for the day, but during church service (luckily after the children's sermon) she decided she was done with the dress for the day. She soaked her onsie, part of her dress, and a lot of Josh's jeans... right in the crouch area. So little diva got her outfit change before noon.

Benefits of being the pastor's granddaughter during the children's sermon, you get to sit on the steps with grandma while the other kids (all 3 of them) watch.

Brayden. So cute, just turned 1. He's 16 lbs 10 oz (Audrey was 16 lbs 8 oz at 3 months) Holy crap! One on the small side, one on the large size

She was OK for a minute in the grass until she started pulling it out and then she freaked out. She continued to pull grass, and continued to cry (and I continued to take pictures).

The girl loved her food. She had, salmon, potatoes, corn, bread, asparagus, and a little lamb.
