Once again, time to show all those random photos that have appeared through Instagram over the last 6 weeks or so.

Sometimes its easier to have Sam sit on Audrey's lap now

Fun run in Sherwood last month, the kids mile, she did great!

Rose Festival and Sunshine

It seems every few years Josh and I will head down to the Rose Festival City Fair and check out the waterfront. We don't do the rides but just wander the event and take in the atmosphere. I can't remember the last time we had weather like this. I wanted to take Sam down to the waterfront and show her the ships along with the fair. Sadly there weren't many ships at all, and we couldn't get on any of them due to military dinners happening that night, so that was kind of a bust, but Sam thought it was fun to see what she did. Good thing about kids, they don't know what they're missing without years of memories yet. We did get lucky when we got to Portland however. We hadn't realized that the dragon boat races were going on, and we just happened to park right by it. So we got to see a race, and Sam loved it. After that we headed into the fair. Sam was interested in everything and afraid of everything at the same time. We were able to convince her to do the carousel. I know, we had to convince her to do it, yes, but once she did, she wanted to immediately do it again. She was terrified before it started, but then really got into it. I think seeing it from the outside made it seem big and scary to her, but once on it herself she was ok with it. Too funny that girl, only because that was me, I get it. It was a good weekend spending time outside and taking in all the vitamin D we could get while it's here, this weather has been incredible!

Terrified before it started

Finally enjoying herself

Second run, ready to go!

11 Months

Once again I can't believe Audrey is another month older. 11 moths, as we start the countdown to not having to buy formula anymore, just giving her milk, and hopefully phasing out bottles forever! We are ready for this next month for sure! She is still not much for words, dada is really it. She loves to make noise, just not anything decipherable. She decided this last week to take a couple unassisted steps, and then just tonight did it again with about 5. It seems she needs to have a toy in her hand or something to take her mind off the fact that she's moving freely. Too funny. You can just tell in her movements though she will just take off sooner rather than later and then we're done for! She's becoming quite the funny little (big) girl, and still loves all foods. Recently she has had grapes, beans, halibut, and I'm sure even more. Her favorites still seem to be anything that was once an animal, and seems to really love tomatoes. One happy girl as long as she's entertained by something!
