3 Generations

As a child I always remember a certain picture hanging someplace in my house. As I got older I took a duplicate of the same frame to my own home. This frame had a picture of my dad as a baby and then a picture of me as a baby... we of course have now added the third generation, Samantha, to the frame. All 3 photos below. They are framed together hanging in Sam's room, as well as given to my dad as a father's day gift.

Downtown Portland

Last weekend Josh and I headed downtown so we could take photos of the waterfront with the rose festival going on. We stayed on the east side and took some shots across the river. Next time I'll get closer, but it was fun none the less.

 

 

Laughing Baby and a sunny day!

It took long enough, but we finally had some good weather! After I got home from a baby shower breakfast for Julie, Josh, Sam and I headed out to Dawson's Creek Park to get out and enjoy the weather. We will definitely be going back. Sam is now sitting in her stroller w/out her car seat, although she looks tiny and doesn't seem to enjoy it as much, she did stay awake (which she never did in her car seat) and could see things coming at her for once.

Sam has been laughing a lot lately. She laughed so hard that by the time I got the camera out to film this, she got the hiccups... so here is her laugh, with hiccups.

Food!

So Sam's doctor told me at her 4 month check up that she could start eating baby food if she seemed interested. If not, don't worry about, but if so, go for it! We tried some sweet potatoes first to see how she did... she wasn't very into it, but we got a good picture anyway.
